Be Part of the Solution. Become a Mediator!
In this interactive training, participants will learn to be an impartial third party, manage conflict and empower community members to find solutions that meet everyone’s needs. Sign up for EMM’s Basic Mediation Training Course. The course will be held on some evenings and Friday’s and Saturdays in March 2020. 
Those interested in a shorter training session, can attend the Conflict Management Training, (March 11-13th) and will gain communication, listening and conflict resolution skills.  Applications are due February 7, 2020, and scholarships are available! Fees/Admission:
1) $695 - general public
2) $400 - Community leaders in east Multnomah County pay a reduced fee.
3) $75 – Up to four individuals who are willing to volunteer at East Metro Mediation for two hours each week for one year will pay a reduced fee to cover materials.  Full scholarships are available for those with hardships.
The first three-days (March 11-13) can be taken separately as a Conflict Management Training. You must take the entire training to be trained as a mediator.
