Growth Expectations on Land, Air, and Sea 
with Jayson Shanafelt 

Jayson Shanafelt is the Community Affairs Outreach Manager for the Port of Portland. He has been with the Port since 2012 and is responsible for managing the Speakers Program for the Port, education outreach, and tour programs, as well as fostering relationships with communities impacted by Port activities.

Prior to joining the Port, Jayson lead a small, non-profit program that collaborated with local junior-high and high schools to encourage healthy decision making. In his off hours, he moonlights as an actor. Jayson is a founding member of Clackamas Repertory Theatre and has performed in more than 30 productions. Over the years, Jayson has played the straight man, the comic relief, the romantic lead, the villain, the lady, the idiot, and even Russian #2.

Jayson graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Business Administration/Marketing.
