With 18 years of experience running her business in East County to add to her nine years of service as a Legislative staffer in Salem, Ruth Miles understands first-hand the challenges entrepreneurs face and the policy issues behind them. For almost 3 years, Ruth has crisscrossed Oregon to visit with business owners, chambers of commerce, nonprofits and community partners to hear their concerns about getting caught in red tape with government. And everywhere she goes, she runs with scissors.
