Improv is typically funny. Therapy usually is not. The concepts of "Yes And" from improv and "radical acceptance" from therapy bear a striking resemblance. Join us to learn how to use these tools separately and together to improve the way you handle challenges that arise in work and life.
Jay Flewelling is one of Portland’s best known up and coming improv performers. He is a multitalented comedian and has a knack for stand-up comedy. Jay has performed on NPR, at Portland Center Stage, Bagdad Theater and more.
Dean Hall is a Gresham based family therapist. He is perhaps best known for being the first and only person to have swam the entire length of the Willamette River. The swim was part of his treatment for lymphoma and leukemia.
