INSTRUCTOR: JIM BUCK
Jim has been an avid gardener since childhood when he asked for plants as birthday gifts. He has a strong interest in native plants and their uses by indigenous tribes. Jim volunteers at Tsuru Island Japanese Garden and coordinates a community garden in Gresham. He also serves on the Urban Forestry Subcommittee for the city of Gresham. His perennial garden at home contains more than 150 different plant species. When not gardening, he enjoys cycling, wood turning, traveling and hiking.Class is limited to 9 participants.
